Growscape ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. Growscape is a mobile application designed to help users adopt and track daily habits through a virtual landscape evolution system and statistics tracking.

The short version:

  • Almost all of your data stays exclusively on your device.

  • We do not sell your data.

  • We do not use intrusive advertising.

  • We only collect the minimal data strictly necessary to manage your in-app purchases and subscriptions.

3. Data We Collect

3.1 Data stored locally on your device

Growscape stores the following information directly and exclusively on your smartphone:

  • The habits you choose to track.

  • Your daily completions and routine history.

  • The progression and growth state of your virtual landscape.

  • Your completion statistics.

This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

3.2 Purchase and subscription data (RevenueCat)

Growscape offers a free version and Premium features (subscriptions). To manage access to these features, we use a third-party service called RevenueCat. RevenueCat collects anonymized technical data related to your transactions, which includes:

  • An anonymous unique identifier generated by the app (App User ID).

  • Your subscription status (active, expired).

  • The date and time of the purchase.

  • An anonymous transaction identifier.

  • Basic technical information (device model, operating system version, and country of purchase determined via IP address).

This data does not include your name, your email address, or your credit card details. It is used solely to verify that you have access to the paid features you purchased.

4. Data Storage and Backups

Since Growscape does not use an online backend database to store your personal content, you are solely responsible for backing up your habit data. If you change your phone or uninstall the application, your data will be permanently lost.

5. Notifications

Growscape may send you push notifications to remind you to check in on your habits or to celebrate your progress. These notifications are generated locally by your own device (similar to an alarm clock). No external server is used to send these messages, and no advertising tracking is involved.

6. Payments

All payments are processed exclusively through the official app stores (Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store). We never have access to, nor do we store, your credit card details, billing address, or payment account credentials.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any data brokers or advertising networks. The only technical provider with whom limited data is shared is:

  • RevenueCat (strictly for the technical and anonymous validation of in-app purchases).

8. Data Retention

  • Local Data: You can instantly and permanently delete all your habit and statistics data at any time by simply uninstalling the app from your device.

  • Subscription Data: Anonymous purchase data processed by RevenueCat is retained only for as long as necessary to manage the technical and accounting aspects of your subscription.

9. Children

Growscape is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 is using the application and providing data, please contact us at growscape.help@outlook.com.

10. Your Rights (GDPR)

In accordance with European data protection laws (GDPR), you have the right to access and delete your data. With Growscape, you can exercise these rights directly on your own:

  • To access your data: It is fully visible directly within your in-app statistics screens.

  • To delete your data: Simply uninstall the application from your device.

11. Security

Since your habit data is stored locally, its security depends entirely on the security of your own smartphone. We highly recommend protecting your device with a passcode, PIN, or biometric lock (FaceID / TouchID) and keeping your operating system updated.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect updates to the app or changes in legal requirements. If a significant change is made, we will display a visible notice within the application.
